We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our team. The ideal candidate will be reliable, have their own transportation, positive attitude & experience with a breakfast menu in a fast-paced environment.
This role involves preparing ingredients, cooking dishes, and ensuring that all food safety standards are met. If you thrive in a kitchen setting and enjoy working as part of a team, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and restaurant standards.
- Assist in meal preparation by chopping vegetables, blanching, and preparing soups.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace.
- Ensure all food handling and safety regulations are followed.
- Monitor food stock levels and assist with inventory managment
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
- Help in training new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety protocols.
- Participate in daily kitchen operations, including cleaning and sanitizing equipment.
- Other duties as assigned
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or a similar role is required.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques.
- Familiarity with various cooking methods, equipment, and procedures.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively in a busy environment.
