Senior Compiler Researcher – AI Software Stack Competitive salary & Hybrid Working
An exciting opportunity for a Senior Researcher has arisen with a global technology leader at the forefront of AI and high-performance computing. Based in Zurich, this role focuses on advancing the AI compiler software stack, driving innovation in AI model efficiency and deployment.
You’ll be developing and optimising cutting-edge tools and frameworks like PyTorch, Triton, MLIR, and TVM, contributing to both internal product development and the wider research community.
You’ll commit to a full-time, hybrid working model in an international, innovation-driven environment.
What’s required for this Compiler Researcher position?
- PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or similar, with focus on AI or compilers
- Expertise in Python, PyTorch, Triton, MLIR, and/or TVM
- Deep understanding of compiler design, optimization, and parallel processing
- Experience with AI model training, performance benchmarking, and deployment
- Strong research background with publications in top-tier conferences
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Nice To Have
- Familiarity with AI hardware architectures and their performance impact
- Contributions to open-source projects
- Mentoring or team leadership experience
