Job Overview
Reporting to the Lead Office Administrator, the Administrative Assistant will provide support to an office of approximately 33 employees, including an existing admin team of four. This role involves supporting other companies under common ownership and performing various projects and assignments as required.
Key Responsibility Areas
- Research details for various company projects to support in decision-making.
- Facilitate project implementation and monitoring.
- Edit/proof various written content.
- Help compose and edit our monthly newsletter.
- Update and maintain select company websites.
- Implement and maintain contracts with our clients.
- Coordinate travel arrangements for trainings and trade shows.
- Provide remote admin vacation coverage for our trucking logistics company - building loads into our app and document control.
- Match receipts to credit card statements.
- Aid the OH&S committee by taking meeting minutes and completing tasks that arise.
- Professionally answer multi-business phone lines, directing calls as needed.
- Additional duties as required.
Requirements
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-company office environment.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Flexibility to adapt quickly to changing priorities.
- Excellent customer service and phone skills.
- High typing accuracy.
- Experience with Asana and Wordpress an asset.
- Class 5 driver's license and access to a personal vehicle.
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic (training can be provided for other skills).

This role is in-office Monday to Friday, 8am - 5pm with an hour for lunch.
