Talent Acquisition Intern - 4 month contract
About the role
Our Talent Acquisition department is currently seeking a technically creative, highly motivated and multi-faceted graduate who enjoys working on a wide variety of tasks and is keen to make a significant contribution to a successful and growing company. This position provides a unique opportunity to work within the talent acquisition department and will focus on improving and supporting various onboarding and talent sourcing initiatives to help build and establish a solid candidate pipeline for our skilled trades roles.
This is a 4-month contract term from June - October 2025 at our Lansing office.
Key Accountabilities:
- Manage pre-employment processes, ensuring timely collection of required documents to facilitate a seamless onboarding experience.
- Work closely with Talent Acquisition Specialists to help source and build a viable talent pipeline of skilled trades professionals across Canada for both current and future hiring needs
- All other administrative activities
Skills, Experience and Education Required
- Post-Secondary degree in Business or Human Resources or related field and equivalent experience.
- Minimum 1 year experience within an office environment
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Team player, energetic, resourceful and reliable
- Eager to work and learn in a fast-paced industry
- Strong communication (verbal/written) skills
- Strong computer skills with hands-on working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
