What You’ll Be Doing

As a UX/UI lead with CIBC ASG Digital team within the Direct Financial Services Capital Markets Division, you will work alongside CIBC ASG’s Digital technology delivery team to build enhancements and deliver a best-in-class digital customer experience for the CIBC ASG online and mobile banking platforms. As a UX Design Lead, you’re a creative problem solver and storyteller. You can drive design objectives and deliver innovative concepts while maintaining brand & design standards to ensure cross-site consistency. You’ll leverage a broad portfolio of work and conceptual thinking to execute fast-paced prototypes and designs. You’ll use your solid knowledge of design tools to create engaging and intuitive pages that will drive innovation in the digital banking space.

How You’ll Succeed:

  • Concept, Design & Validation - You’ll lead and deliver creative digital concepts and solutions for our CIBC ASG online and mobile banking properties. This includes leading and facilitating Design Thinking & Design Sprint workshops with multidisciplinary teams, persona development and client journey mapping sessions as well as developing user-centered storyboards, sketches/wireframes, and prototypes.
  • Project Delivery - Define and deliver design components and deliverables (e.g. wireframes, mockups, user workflows, and interaction rules) by working collaboratively with key team members from various disciplines (e.g. editorial content, business analysis/product, development & quality assurance) within an agile/iterative design & development environment where timely delivery of design deliverables is critical.
  • User Research & Usability Testing - Plan and execute usability testing & stakeholder/user interviews with the intention of incorporating the feedback into concept and/or application development.

Who You Are:

  • You can demonstrate experience 4- 6 years projects for software applications. You have a minimum of 4-6 years of experience in this area; influencing critical decisions, setting project goals, delivering creative artefacts with the right fidelity. Experience and proficiency in Axure, Adobe Creative Cloud, Sketch/InVision. You have a creative edge and a portfolio with examples of 3 - 5 case studies. It is an asset to have experience with Figma and understanding of digital financial related products.
