About the role

Job Description Join our team as a Jr. Java Test Automation Engineer and play a vital role in ensuring software quality. You'll execute Hardening tests on candidate software builds, develop innovative test scripts to streamline execution, and investigate product defects to refine functionality. How You Will Contribute And What You Will Learn

  • Collaborate with QA engineers and developers to identify new test case coverage
  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using a java-based test framework
  • Analyze test results and identify root causes of failures
  • Write clear and concise defect reports and assist in debugging and resolution

Key Skills And Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or computer science or related field
  • Proficiency in java programming, with a good understanding of object-oriented principles
  • Experience working in a Linux/Unix-based environment, including shell scripting basics
  • Basic knowledge of software version control systems (e.g., Git) and build tools (e.g., Gradle)
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with a collaborative, team-oriented approach.

It would be nice if you also had:

  • Working knowledge of Kubernetes
  • Understanding of IP networking and routing protocols (e.g., OSPF/ISIS, IP/MPLS, BGP)
  • Working knowledge of SQL
