About the role
Superior Facility Services is a family owned company who have been providing services to long term care facilities for over 30 years. Currently we are searching for a Cook for one of our locations in Orangeville Ontario - Lord Dufferin Centre.
Permanent position part time - candidate must be available for both weekday and weekend shifts. As an essential services employees are required to work during the pandemic and to be in compliance with provincial regulations pertaining to immunization in Retirement facilities.
The Job:
Prepare, cook and serve meals to residents in a professional and courteous manner; assist in set up and preparation for food service; set and clear dining tables and deliver tray service as required; assist with cleaning of dishware, cutlery at conclusion of each seating; comply with all provincial regulations and established department policies and procedures and be aware of Resident Rights and Responsibilities; complete all other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
Food Handler's Certificate is required. Certificate or diploma in culinary or other food service is preferred. Experience in a Long Term Care, Retirement or hospital environment; excellent service skills.
