Member Experience & Culture Coordinator

Full-Time | Victoria, BC

$50,000 – $55,000/year

Reports to: Member Services Manager

Schedule: Between 7:30 and 7 pm, Monday-Friday. Occasional Weekends & Evenings

You are the vibe and heartbeat of KWENCH. You’re the first smile people see, the connector of humans, the calm in the chaos, and the one who always seems to know just the right thing to say—or where the spare HDMI cable is hiding.

You genuinely love people. You remember their names, stories, dogs, and quirks. You notice when someone’s new or feeling out of place, and you make them feel like they belong.

You bring the energy and action to our club. You tune in to what members need, you notice the little things, and you bring creativity and care to every interaction. Whether it’s planning a spontaneous member lunch, connecting two people who need to meet, or surprising someone with a small gesture, you turn a workspace into a community. Who We Are

KWENCH is a premium multi-service work and culture club based in Victoria, BC. We bring together office space, meeting rooms, a gym, creative studios, events, learning opportunities, community—and yes, even food—all under one roof. We exist to support people in living happy, curious, and connected lives. Our space is vibrant, inclusive, and full of possibility—and we’re looking for someone who can help keep the heartbeat strong.

Your Role - In a Nutshell

Member Services (60%)

  • Be the face and energy of KWENCH — delivering a first impression that’s warm, memorable, and rooted in genuine care. Every interaction should leave people feeling seen, supported, and excited to be here.
  • Own every touchpoint — respond to member needs quickly and clearly, whether in person, by phone, email, or through our platform. No radio silence. No missed details.
  • Lead with impact — deliver engaging, story-driven tours that convert curiosity into membership and communicate our values with clarity and confidence.
  • Support with confidence — from tech hiccups to bar service, you’re proactive, resourceful, and unflappable. (Serving It Right required.)
  • Set the tone through presentation — keep the club spotless, organised, and always guest-ready. A beautiful space reflects the standard we hold.
  • Keep operations humming — manage bookings, process payments, and support the daily rhythm of the club with precision and care.
  • Drive connection through conversion — confidently follow up with leads, read the room, and close the deal. You’re not just selling memberships—you’re inviting people into something meaningful.

Culture & Experience (40%)

  • Own the vibe. Plan and host 4+ member events a month that spark real connection—not just social time, but experiences people talk about long after they leave.
  • Lead with energy. You’re comfortable on the mic, in the crowd, and at the centre of the action. Whether it’s welcoming new faces or rallying the room, you know how to hold space and light it up.
  • Surprise and delight. From birthdays to random treat drops, you create joyful moments that make people feel seen, appreciated, and part of something special.
  • Be the connector. You actively build relationships within the club and beyond—linking members, sparking collaborations, and bringing in fresh energy from movers, makers, and creators in the wider community.
  • Bring bold ideas. You don’t wait to be told what’s possible. You notice what’s missing, propose what’s next, and work with the team to keep elevating the member experience.
  • Support with grace. When events are on, you’re present, helpful, and hands-on, ensuring everything runs smoothly and everyone feels welcome.

What You Bring

  • 2+ years of experience in hospitality, customer service, or community-focused roles
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Comfort with tech platforms, Google Suites, Slack, Optix, Canva.
  • Organised, detail-oriented, and able to juggle multiple moving pieces
  • A proactive mindset — you don’t wait to be asked, but are always checking to see that you’re moving in the right direction.
  • Bonus: Experience in coworking, events, or creative spaces
