Job Summary: The Customer Service Representative is responsible for managing customer orders, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in order processing, and delivering excellent customer service. This role requires strong attention to detail, effective communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude toward customers at all times.
- Accurately enter customer orders into the order management system.
- Verify order details, including product specifications, quantities, and pricing.
- Communicate with customers to confirm order details and address any discrepancies.
- Provide timely updates to customers regarding order status, shipping, and delivery.
- Collaborate with the sales, warehouse, supply chain, and shipping teams to ensure orders are processed and fulfilled accurately and on time.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues related to orders, returns, and exchanges.
- Resolve customer complaints by clarifying the issue, determining the cause, selecting and explaining the best solution, expediting correction or adjustment, and following up to ensure resolution.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions.
- Carry out any other tasks which may be reasonably expected in support of the company’s business.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
- Previous experience in customer service, order entry, or a related field.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in using order management systems and other relevant software.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Problem-solving skills and a customer-focused attitude.
