Kane Veterinary Supplies is a Canadian wholesale distributor and manufacturer agent, providing excellence in the distribution of the highest-quality, cutting-edge, value-laden products to the veterinary, agricultural, equine, and pet markets across Canada. We have an immediate opening for a Territory Manager to support and promote our marketing initiatives specific to the Production Animal division in the region of Central and Eastern Ontario.
LOCATION: CENTRAL & EASTERN ONTARIO Responsibilities
- Oversee an established dealer and veterinary sales territory within the Province of Ontario.
- Develop and execute a sales coverage plan.
- Make regular and cold sales calls to Production Animal Veterinarians, Feed and Farm dealers and Tack shops.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with business partners within the Production Animal industry.
- Maintain timely and accurate records of all activities by providing expenses and call reports.
- Work effectively and efficiently within a team environment to achieve regional sales targets.
- Having regular contact with an Inside Sales partner and keeping Management informed of industry news and development.
Requirements
- B.Sc. University Degree or Animal Health Technology Diploma
- Minimum 5 years’ industry-related experience is preferred
- Strong and effective communication and planning skills
- Extensive travel with overnight stays
- Excellent organizational skills
- Computer literate with knowledge of MS Office
- Self-motivated, result-oriented and disciplined team player
This position offers a competitive compensation package that includes a base salary, bonus incentives, group insurance benefits, and a vehicle allowance. Kane Veterinary Supplies also offers optional participation in an RRSP with Company matching DPSP.
