Job Description
As the Director of Data Governance, you will be responsible for leading the data governance strategy and framework across the organization. You will work closely with various stakeholders to ensure data quality, compliance, and effective data management practices.
Main Responsibilities
- Develop and implement data governance policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with business units to ensure data governance is integrated into business processes.
- Monitor data quality and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Lead data governance initiatives and projects.
- Provide training and support to staff on data governance best practices.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in data governance or data management.
- Strong understanding of data governance frameworks and best practices.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in a related field.
- Experience in the financial services industry.
- Knowledge of data privacy regulations.
