About the role

Overview As the FLC Category Associate Finance Manager, you will be responsible for partnering with our marketing team to drive share & profit growth across our brands. This role will focus on collaborating with cross-functional partners on the innovation agenda which includes building AOP, volume forecasts, P&Ls & ongoing reporting. The role requires strong communication skills, effective relationship building, great sense of ownership & accountability, as well as strong analytical and financial acumen.

What you’ll be working on:

  • Manage, track and influence holistic performance of FLC brands in Canada
  • Drive future innovation agenda (including SKU optimization)
  • Deliver innovation P&Ls partnering with marketing, commercialization, sales strategy & RGM teams as part of the stage gate process
  • Influence AOP planning, contributing to target setting, defining the role of innovation, defining trajectory of building blocks
  • Build effective cross departmental relationships supporting shared growth objectives
  • Deliver driver-based brand revenue builds

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or finance preferred. MBA or CPA an asset
  • 5-7 years of relevant finance experience
  • Strong communication skills with ability to simplify key messages and provide valuable insights in a compelling way
  • Ability to influence at various levels of the organization and drive the agenda
  • Strong interpersonal skills and proven collaboration/teamwork experience
  • Strong analytical and project management skills
  • Effective time management & prioritization capabilities
  • Exceptional Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills are a key requirement
  • Strong modeling skills and system skills (ie. SAP, Power BI)
  • Ability to work and think independently with limited direction and oversight
