Position Overview

The Business architecture manager will reimagine business insights, forecasting, planning, and business performance management processes within our Corporate Finance organization to focus on the most important insights, simplify workflows, and take advantage of the latest technologies. This role will deliver high-quality transformation projects to enable these reimagined processes, both by redesigning and standardizing business processes and by influencing data engineering/systems teams to build the right infrastructure.

Location: Portland, OR or Toronto, Canada

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the subject matter expert for Corporate and Product Finance upstream and downstream systems and processes
  • Partnering with division finance teams to understand their planning, forecasting, reporting, and performance management needs
  • Reimagining processes, data structures, and dashboards for simplicity, agility, and adaptability to keep up with process innovations
  • Owning the delivery of end-to-end projects to enable process transformation, reporting and analytics that are automated, flexible, scalable, and action oriented
  • Identifying actionable insights that can target and improve Autodesk’s financial reporting and processes
  • Integrating your efforts into company-wide forecasting and planning processes
  • Adapting state-of-the-art analytical and predictive tools for use in our forecasting and planning processes (once the appropriate data foundations have been built)

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in business, finance, or related quantitative field
  • 3-5 years of experience in FP&A, ideally with direct forecast and planning experience
  • Experience working with Anaplan or similar planning tools
  • 2-5 years of experience with process redesign and working with systems teams on business requirements and user stories
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Looker or similar software
  • Strong abilities in project management, change management, and cross-functional influence
  • A good listener and communicator with excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience with project management
  • Experience implementing Anaplan or similar planning tools
  • Experience building and deploying predictive models to forecast key metrics
  • Experience designing an optimal decision support process, defining a product strategy to enable it, translating into a roadmap, and enabling it through technology
