The Role
As we continue to grow, we’re hiring a Senior Account Executive to help us deepen client relationships and drive adoption in key markets. If you’re someone who thrives on owning the full sales cycle—building trust, closing deals, and helping customers get the most from powerful new tech—this role is for you.
This position reports to the Director of Business Development and is ideal for someone looking to transition from a foundational sales role into full-cycle sales, with a strong focus on driving revenue.
Pay Range:
$65,000-$85,000 per year ($90,000-$120,000 OTE)
Responsibilities:
- Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing across mid-market and enterprise accounts.
- Develop and execute personalized sales strategies to engage key decision-makers and drive revenue growth for Nova.
- Conduct in-depth needs analysis to identify client pain points and provide tailored solutions that align with their objectives.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships to maximize retention, drive upsells, and foster referrals.
- Collaborate with the marketing, product, and customer success teams to ensure seamless onboarding and continued client satisfaction.
- Own forecasting and pipeline management using CRM tools (eg: Pipedrive, HubSpot, Salesforce)
- Provide ongoing feedback to the team on sales processes, market trends, and customer insights to drive continuous improvement.
- Participate in weekly sales meetings to review progress, share learnings, and align on goals.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, educating them on how Nova's solutions address their unique challenges.
- Represent Nova at industry events, partner meetings, and customer engagements. This role can expect to travel up to 50% of the time to fulfill this responsibility.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2-5 years experience in an SDR, AE, or similar sales role with a proven track record of exceeding targets in enterprise-level sales.
- Demonstrated ability to manage the full sales cycle, including prospecting, negotiating, and closing deals.
- Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills with an ability to engage senior-level decision-makers.
- Proficiency in CRM tools (Pipedrive, HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar).
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and eager to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Experience in public safety, emergency response, or SaaS.
