About the role
Some of what you will do:
The primary responsibility of this role is to provide insightful business and financial information to internal business partners on the Bell partnership program. This involves working with the Manager and Director to develop a reconciliation process, reconciling datasets, resolving variances with the carriers and operations, and reporting on program profitability.
Specifically, You Will:
- Prepare reconciliations for commissions, receivables and payables based on the cadence of available reporting from partner.
- Prepare month-end journal entries.
- Review reconciliations and month-end journal entries prepared by analysts as required.
- Investigate and liaise with internal and external stakeholders to validate and resolve unreconciled differences.
- Collaborate with IT and Business Operations teams to assist with system implementation, process improvement and issue resolution.
- Work closely with Business Operations and other finance teams as a trusted business partner to develop reporting on KPIs, EBITDA and profitability measures for the program. Cultivate a continuous improvement mindset within the finance team.
Some of what you need:
- University degree or equivalent in accounting, business, finance or a related field.
- CPA designation required. Minimum 3 years of progressive accounting or finance experience.
