Position Overview:
NCSG Crane and Heavy Haul Trans Tech have a great opportunity for a experienced Jack and Slide Rigger supporting our operations group in Acheson, AB. The Jack and Slide Rigger is an integral member of the team responsible for assisting the loading, offloading and setting of various over dimensional loads including modules and transformers. The Jack and Slide Rigger is responsible for following all company and a client policies, practices and procedures and representing the company in a professional manner.

Your success will be defined by your ability to:
- Complete pre job system evaluations and FLRA’s on a daily basis to ensure all hazards are identified and mitigated;
- Assumes responsibility for loading, offloading, setting/centering load and block placing to ensure safe and accurate placement;
- Light troubleshooting when required;
- Ensures work activities are performed in a safe, productive and efficient manner;
- Ensures all required paperwork including but not limited to; time sheets including job numbers, FLRA’s, maintenance requests are completed and submitted in a timely manner;
- Other duties assigned as required.
Qualifications:
- Jack System Technical Training would be asset;
- Class 1 or Class 3 Drivers License an asset;
- Skid Steer Ticket would be an asset;
- Safety Certifications including H2S Alive, CSTS 2020, CSO, Fall Protection and First Aid;
- Must be or will be willing to become a member of Teamsters Union Local 362.
Experience Required:
- Some knowledge of Hydraulic Skidding Systems and Gantry Systems (Functions, Capabilities and Standards) an asset;
- Previous Jack and Roll experience preferred;
- Maintenance experience is an asset.
Skills and Abilities:
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written;
- Strong analytical skills and sound judgment to make decisions based on information;
- Results orientated and achievement motivated;
- Operates with high integrity; builds trust, quickly wins and sustains credibility in relationships with others;
- Safety oriented.
