Job Description:

HeadQuarters is a premier salon offering top-tier beauty and wellness services in a modern, luxurious setting. We are looking for an enthusiastic, professional Salon Receptionist to be the welcoming face of our headquarters. The ideal candidate will possess excellent customer service skills, a passion for the beauty industry, and an ability to create a positive experience for every client who walks through our doors.

As a Salon Receptionist at HeadQuarters, you will be responsible for providing exceptional front-line customer service. Your duties will include greeting clients, answering phone calls, managing appointments, and maintaining the smooth operation of the front desk. You will play a key role in ensuring that the salon runs efficiently and that clients feel welcomed and valued from the moment they arrive.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and check in clients as they arrive, offering a warm and friendly atmosphere.
  • Manage the salon's appointment calendar, scheduling and confirming client appointments.
  • Answer phone calls, respond to client inquiries, and provide information about services, pricing, and availability.
  • Process client check-outs, including handling payments, and promoting retail products and services.
  • Maintain an organized and clean reception area, ensuring a professional appearance at all times.
  • Assist with administrative duties, such as filing, data entry, and inventory tracking.
  • Provide clients with relevant information about services, treatments, and salon promotions.
  • Handle client complaints or concerns in a calm and professional manner, escalating to management when necessary.
  • Assist stylists and technicians with client needs and support salon operations as needed.
  • Ensure accurate client records are maintained in the system.
  • Help create a welcoming and comfortable environment for clients and staff alike.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a customer service or receptionist role, ideally in a salon or spa environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to create a positive client experience.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with salon software and basic office equipment (appointment booking systems, POS systems, phone systems).
  • Basic knowledge of beauty services and products is a plus.
  • Friendly, professional demeanor and a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
