Position Summary
Are you passionate about fostering an inclusive and supportive environment for all students? Victoria School, an Arts Focus IB Framework school, is seeking a K - 12 Community and Family Liaison to help create a strong sense of belonging for all our students and their families.
In this vital role, you'll be a key part of our Student Services team, providing guidance and support to students as they develop emotional regulation and engagement within the school community. You'll be a role model, helping to build academic strengths and promote community awareness.
Job Duties/Responsibilities

supporting and guiding staff and students through unique and complex situations related to diversity and inclusion

facilitating and supporting our student diversity and inclusion groups

utilizing your skills in conflict resolution, problem-solving, and emotional regulation to provide co-regulation support to students
-
collaborating on important events that celebrate diversity and inclusion
-
building positive relationships with students throughout the school day, creating safe spaces for open conversation
-
staying informed on Division policies and legislative changes that impact student well-being and inclusion
Education/Qualifications
-
a high school diploma plus two years of post-secondary education
-
one to three years of experience working with young people, particularly in the areas of diversity, equity, and inclusion
-
experience working in a school setting
-
excellent communication and collaboration skills
-
strong community knowledge
Rate of Pay
$34.79 - $44.34 per hour
