About the role
We’re looking for a motivated Inside Sales Representative who will play a key role in driving new business opportunities, maintaining client relationships, and ensuring the smooth execution of the sales process for WEEE services. This role requires an individual with strong communication skills, a passion for sustainability, and the ability to understand the complexities of the waste management and recycling industry.
Responsibilities
- Prospect and qualify leads through outbound calls, emails, and other communication channels
- Understand customer needs and offer tailored solutions for the collection, recycling, and disposal of electronic waste.
- Meet sales prospecting activity targets, ensuring consistent revenue growth and profitability for the company. Collaborate with the sales team, management, and marketing to develop and implement strategies to increase prospecting effectiveness and market penetration.
- Represent RLG at client and industry events to raise brand profile and service proposition.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer interactions and sales activities using CRM software
- Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitors’ offerings to enhance your sales approach.
- Attend sales meetings, training sessions, and/or workshops to continually enhance product knowledge and sales skills.
- Provide feedback to the marketing and product development teams on customer preferences and market trends.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing and customer support, to ensure a seamless customer experience and satisfaction.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, sustainability, environmental science, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 years of proven work experience as an Inside Sales Representative or similar sales role is required.
- Familiarity with WEEE regulations and industry standards is a plus.
- Self-motivated and driven with a results-oriented mindset.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- familiarity with CRM software and proficiency in using various digital communication tools.
- Knowledge of sales prospecting techniques and methodologies, with a focus on consultative selling.
- Adaptability and willingness to learn about new products and industry developments.
- Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple priorities effectively.
