Leadership & Management

Lead by example, focus on motivating leaders and co-workers. Lead and manage a multidisciplinary PD&E team. Shape and embody our Arjo culture, foster innovation and excellence across our diverse global organization.

Responsible for driving leadership and competence agenda for its team: Together with the function identify needs and gaps, and build leadership and competence plans to meet the short- and long-term business needs

Accountable to enable a change culture by leading in the unknown and being an ambassador for change and business development.

Collaborate across various departments such as product management, manufacturing, procurement, regulatory, service and rental.

Perform additional duties as and when required to support the overall objectives of the role and the organization.
Strategic Planning
- Develop and implement category specific technology plans in close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
- Support development of product strategies and roadmaps .
- Collaborate with management to set long-term goals and objectives for the PD&E department.
Accountability for Line in Project-Line operating model (who and how)
- Secure and allocate resources, develop skills and capabilities.
- Accountable for requirements and technical / functional solutions to meet project objectives
- Provide technical leadership and support to team members and make sure technical decisions are made and implemented with high quality.
- Define, implement and continously develop methods and tools for functional excellence.
Innovation & Development
- Enable the team to stay in the forefront of understanding customer needs, industry trends, emerging technologies, regulation and competitive landscape.
- Foster a creative and collaborative environment across departments and product categories that encourages innovative thinking.
Quality & Compliance
- Ensure all deliverables from the team comply with relevant regulations, standards, and quality requirements, including sustainability requirements.
- Implement robust design assurance and quality control processes.
- Drive technical / functional reviews to maintain high standards of product quality and reliability.
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, academia, and regulatory bodies.
Requirements :
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Technology, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in a relevant technology / functional area, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
- Experience of close and successful collaboration with suppliers and partners.
- Skilled in modern product development best practices.
- Ability to oversee multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience from working in regulated industry.
- Experience of evaluation, implementation and work in relevant softwares and tools.
- Managerial courage and cross-functional influence to take and implement decision necessary to execute strategy.
- Experience and ability to lead change and transformation
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
