Job Description

This position will assist the Quality Manager and our leaders in ensuring that the companies quality management system (QMS) is maintained and improved. Duties include:

  • Working with our Group Leaders and Managers to coordinate and maintain equipment listed on our Preventative Maintenance (PM) program that is linked to the QMS.

  • Monitoring and maintaining Pister E-Maint PM software for applicable equipment related to QMS.

  • Monthly reviewing and issuing of work orders, follow-up on existing work orders, entering and updating records in the E-Maint program.

  • Ensuring conformity with related Bosch Rexroth directives that regulate our company and industry as applicable to the Quality topic.

  • Assisting and supporting our internal audit program by conducting internal process audits, completing first article inspections per customer requirements (FAIR), product hold for inspections, customer complaint logging and resolution support for Compu-Spread.

  • Controlling and disposition of all product and process related NCR's. this involves physical inventory management on the shop floor, all material movement in SAP, enter Quality note in SAP and/or Robin Ticket, supplier communication, problem solving as applicable, physical inspection of parts, containment/quarantine of product to prevent further processing, working with customer to contain inventory on customer site, i.e.; for product recalls or product NCRs.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • 3 - 5 years of experience working in a Quality role within a manufacturing/assembly environment.

  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering Technology, Quality Engineering or business related program.

  • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of quality systems (e.g. ISO 9001:2015), document control, and document management

  • Experience with SAP is a strong asset

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (i.e.; MS Word, Excel, Power Point, PowerBI)

  • Experience with Problem solving skills using proven problem solving methods and tools (i.e.; 8D, 5why, etc)

  • Excellent verbal and written communication, organizational and analytical skills

  • Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision, and able to and has experience working collaboratively within cross functional groups.
