Join the Monarch Dentistry Team!
We are looking for dedicated and skilled team members to join our Mississauga location. The ideal candidate is a motivated multi-tasker who values teamwork and is committed to providing outstanding care to our valued patients.
Position:
Certified Level II Dental Assistant + National Dental Assisting Examining Board (NDAEB)
Responsibilities:
- Prepare treatment rooms, patients, instruments, and materials for dental procedures.
- Assist the dentist during procedures by passing instruments and materials as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including disinfecting operatories and sterilizing instruments.
- Update and maintain patient dental records accurately.
- Support dentists and staff as required, including providing backup for the receptionist when necessary.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Previous dental assisting experience is preferred (4 to 5 years preferred).
- Successful completion of a Dental Assisting Certificate (preferred).
- Level II and HARP certification (required).
- Valid CPR certification (required).
- Flexible schedule with availability for evening and weekend shifts based on business needs.
- Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills.
- Punctual and reliable with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt and respond effectively to a variety of patients.
- Experience with dental practice management software (such as Abeldent) is considered an asset.
