Occupational Therapy Assistant/ Physical Therapy Assistant
Permanent Full-Time

The Ministry of Social Services, Community Living Service Delivery Branch, is seeking a compassionate and enthusiastic individual to join the Therapy Team located in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan. This position is part of a multidisciplinary, provincial team that provides a range of programs and services to individuals with intellectual disabilities. CLSD's therapy services are based out of the Edie Montgrand Centre in Moose Jaw, SK, home-based, and community-based services to best meet the needs of the individuals. Travel may be required.
As part of this rewarding opportunity, you will assist in the provision of Occupational Therapy and Physiotherapy services aimed at enhancing clients' functional independence and ability to live their lives to the fullest. Primary responsibilities of this job include: implementing rehabilitative treatment programs (including aquatic-based therapy programs); observing, reporting, and documenting the outcomes of rehabilitative treatment programs; training individuals and caregivers in home-based programs; and managing/ordering rehabilitative equipment and supplies. Experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities, as well as chest physiotherapy, would be a definite asset.
To qualify, the successful candidate must possess a certificate or diploma from an Occupational Therapy Assistant/Physiotherapy Assistant program.
