About the role

Key Assets is part of a global organization, changing the lives of children everywhere. In Canada, our non-profit offices are located in Ontario, Newfoundland and Labrador, and Nova Scotia.

Within Ontario, our office is in located in Mississauga. Collectively, our dynamic organization provides various support services to young people and families with complex needs. This includes foster family placements, family based care, therapeutic support, clinical services and community training.

We are a growing company seeking a talented Program Supervisor to be with us while we grow.

We are currently hiring for London, Ontario for the position of:

Program Supervisor

Permanent Full Time Position

At Key Assets, the Program Supervisor provides comprehensive and flexible support and supervision to front-line Child and Youth Care Workers in specialized living arrangements for young people with complex needs. The Program Supervisor will oversee the development and implementation of the therapeutic program, provide leadership and supervision to the Child and Youth Care team, liaise with other agencies and professionals, and maintain regular contact with senior management. As well, the Program Supervisor will work to actively encourage and develop each child’s social, physical, intellectual, cultural, emotional, and religious needs or/and any special needs they may have, and assume other duties and responsibilities as required.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, the candidate is required to have:

· Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in Child and Youth Care, Social Work, or a related discipline.

· Minimum of 3 years working with young persons with complex needs (emotional/behavioural difficulties) and/or developmental disabilities residing in alternate or foster care.

· A minimum of two years of supervisory/leadership experience.

· Experience working with young people who have experienced trauma and/or who demonstrate challenging behavior will be considered an asset.

· A valid G license with a clean driving record and daily access to a safe/reliable vehicle with a minimum of $2-Million liability insurance

· A current Vulnerable Sector Police Screening and Child Welfare Screening

· Competitive salary commensurate with education and experience (salary range $66,092- $74,388)
