Main Responsibilities

Architect & Innovate: Take the lead in designing, developing, and maintaining sophisticated software for our transportation management systems, including key features like carrier selection, dynamic routing, and real-time shipment tracking.

Seamless Integration: Spearhead the integration of our core systems with external inventory solutions and third-party Order Management Systems (OMS), building robust APIs and services for flawless data exchange.

Elevate Code Quality: Champion best practices by writing clean, efficient, and reusable code. Actively participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to foster a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

Drive Automation: Implement and optimize automated testing and CI/CD pipelines to ensure the scalability and unwavering reliability of our logistics and shipping solutions.

Knowledge Sharing & Mentorship: Become a key contributor to our internal knowledge base, leading onboarding for new developers and hosting sessions at SSENSE University to share your expertise.

Qualifications

A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

A strong understanding of microservice architecture with the ability to independently design and develop complex microservices.

Familiarity with a variety of database systems and the ability to write complex queries to retrieve and manipulate data efficiently.

Knowledge of fundamental cloud and containerization concepts (e.g., AWS, Docker, Kubernetes) and the ability to work with them effectively.

Familiarity with carrier management software and the core concepts of transportation and logistics is a significant asset.

A solution-oriented mindset, a can-do attitude, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. You're a team player with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
