Job Summary
As the primary point of contact for customers seeking automotive services, you will:

  • Understand customer needs and provide expert advice on service options
  • Ensure a seamless service experience from arrival to vehicle pickup
  • Communicate effectively and build strong relationships with clients

Responsibilities

  • Greet customers promptly and professionally upon arrival
  • Assess customer needs and recommend appropriate services based on vehicle condition
  • Provide detailed explanations of repairs and maintenance services
  • Manage service appointments and follow up with customers regarding vehicle status
  • Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, ensuring proper documentation of all sales
  • Upsell additional services and products based on customer needs and vehicle diagnostics
  • Collaborate with technicians to ensure timely completion of services while maintaining quality standards
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, service history, and sales transactions
  • Stay updated on automotive technology trends and dealership promotions to provide informed recommendations

Requirements

  • Proven experience in customer service, preferably within a dealership or automotive environment
  • At least 2 years’ experience in a dealership service environment (required)
  • At least 3 years’ experience in sales or customer-facing roles (required)
  • Strong sales skills with a track record of upselling products or services
  • Basic mechanical knowledge or experience in automotive repair is highly desirable
  • Proficiency with dealership systems and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical information clearly to customers
  • High-level proficiency in English equivalent to Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) Level 7 or higher for reading, writing, and communicating effectively on the phone is essential
  • Proficient in cash handling procedures and financial transactions
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks
  • Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service
  • Professionalism, confidentiality, and organizational skills
  • G2 licence or higher (required)
  • Clean Drivers Abstract (required)
  • Clean Criminal Records Check (required)
