JOB OVERVIEW
We are seeking a Business Intelligence Lead to join our Supply Chain Team, focusing on data-driven decision-making in MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul) inventory management. This role is critical in optimizing inventory levels, reducing costs, and improving operational efficiency by leveraging financial insights, data analytics, and reporting tools. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in financial analysis, data modeling, and supply chain optimization.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze financial and operational data related to MRO inventory, identifying trends, anomalies, and cost-saving opportunities.
- Develop and maintain real-time dashboards and visualizations to track financial performance and inventory metrics.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams across supply chain and other disciplines (i.e. finance, operations) to integrate data from multiple sources and improve inventory forecasting.
- Monitor inventory spend, ensuring alignment with budgetary goals and identifying areas for efficiency improvement.
- Enhance data collection processes to improve forecasting accuracy and streamline inventory management.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity in financial reports, models, and system integrations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Economics, Data Science, or a related field
- Proven experience as a Financial Data Analyst or similar role preferably in supply chain environments
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and software, such as SQL, Python, R, Power BI and Tableau
- Experience in inventory management analytics, financial forecasting, and operational decision support.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to communicate complex information clearly and effectively
- Strong organizational and time management skills
