Job Reports To: Ticketing System and Database Senior Coordinator
Key Activities
Under the direction of the Ticketing System and Database Senior Coordinator, the Ticketing System and Database Coordinator is responsible for the creation of NAC subscription packages, single events, festivals, galas, special events, promotions and discounts on the ticketing system including the online platform. The responsibilities of the Box Office Ticketing System and Database Coordinator include, but are not limited to, supervising the activities of the team of four Program Specialists and one Data Specialist, building one strong cohesive administrative team to manage the data, events, subscription packages, promotions and reporting. This position will serve as a technology point person in Box Office for Tessitura and our e-commerce platform and, as such, will work with members of the Digital Experience team to optimize the online customer experience. In their day-to-day work, the Ticketing System and Database Coordinator works closely with the Marketing, Digital Experience, Development and Programming teams and outside promoters. The incumbent helps to establish best practices in data management, quality assurance and reporting; coordinates the use of the database for the distribution of subscription and promotional material, statistical analysis, and telemarketing by the Marketing department.
The position will help identify, develop, and facilitate in house standards, training and documentation for event and data management. The incumbent will help troubleshoot upgrades, oversee database infrastructure, and provide administrative support. They will help with the recommendation of process improvements across systems to optimize database resources, workflow and ensure quality work across the Box Office department. A regular function will be consulting with all departments to translate and
execute sales methodology to optimize setup for business intelligence for actionable data capture and analysis.
Skill Requirements

Ability to communicate effectively in both official languages;

Equivalent of basic college education or 5-8 years of related work experience;

Advanced knowledge and understanding of performing arts environment, of subscription and single ticket procedures related to the performing arts, with focus on Subscription, Box Office and Front of House procedures;

Advanced level in Windows environment and its programs, especially Excel, Word and Outlook;
-
Advanced understanding of the ticketing platform and database management experience;
-
Outstanding interpersonal, communication and relationship-building skills;
-
Excellent leadership skills, ability to motivate and be a team leader;

Excellent planning and organisational skills;
-
Ability to meet deadlines and to work under stress;

Excellent initiative, decision making and problem solving.
