As a key member of our restaurant team, you will report directly to the General Manager and work closely with both Front-of-House (FOH) and Back-of-House (BOH) teams. Your role is hands-on and multifaceted, giving you the opportunity to be involved in all aspects of restaurant operations.

You’ll gain in-depth knowledge of our highly regarded systems and procedures, learning the ins and outs of what makes our restaurants exceptional. Your enthusiastic, professional leadership will play a critical role in creating an outstanding guest experience—warm, welcoming, and worthy of rave review

Job Description

  • Creating a culture of hospitality: You inspire a team culture rooted in exceptional guest service and a passion for food and wine.

  • Operational leadership: Contribute to all areas of daily operations including: Recruitment, onboarding and training of staff, Coaching and performance management, Scheduling and payroll, Inventory management and ordering, Invoicing and administrative tasks, Health & Safety meetings and compliance.

  • Team collaboration: Work side-by-side with both FOH and BOH to ensure smooth service and consistent execution.

  • Guest & vendor relations: Build strong relationships with guests, suppliers, team members, and senior leadership.

  • Brand ambassador: Lead by example, communicate the restaurant’s vision clearly to your team, and represent the brand with pride, professionalism, and integrity.

  • Support as needed: Flexibility to take on additional tasks to support the restaurant's overall success.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years experience in restaurant operations in a management role

  • Solid understanding of food and beverage service, with a strong interest in wine (WSET certification an asset or in progress)

  • Familiarity with operational procedures like inventory, scheduling, payroll, and ordering

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Excellent interpersonal and team leadership skills

  • High attention to detail with exceptional organizational abilities

  • Ability to multitask effectively in a high-volume, fast-paced environment

  • Lead and motivate teams with professionalism, enthusiasm, and integrity

  • Adapt to changing priorities and take initiative to solve problems

  • Build relationships with diverse groups—guests, team members, vendors, and management

  • A passion for hospitality and a genuine love for creating memorable guest experiences

  • Eagerness to grow with the company and participate in optional professional development opportunities

  • Commitment to upholding high standards of service and contributing to a positive team culture
