About the role
Summary: The Regional Leasing Coordinator is the driving force behind energizing leasing teams and boosting occupancy across our communities. Working closely with the Manager, Leasing and Leasing Specialists, the Coordinator will roll out creative leasing strategies that attract new tenants and keep current residents excited to renew. From leading fun, effective training sessions, to staying ahead of market trends and scoping out the competition, the Regional Leasing Coordinator plays a key role in keeping our properties thriving and our leasing game strong.
What you'll get to do:
Strategic Planning & Collaboration:
- Partner with the Manager, Leasing to craft innovative and results-driven leasing strategies.
- Collaborate with the Research Team to design impactful market surveys.
- Analyze competitor activity and market trends to provide recommendations on pricing and marketing strategies.
Reporting & Documentation:
- Prepare and deliver daily and weekly client reports for the Manager, Leasing.
- Record minutes and key takeaways during weekly meetings with leasing staff and Property Managers.
- Share timely portfolio updates to keep the team aligned and informed.
Leasing Support & Skill Building:
- Support Leasing Specialists in achieving leasing KPIs.
- Provide hands-on backup support—answering inquiries, conducting showings, and processing applications.
- Deliver one-on-one leasing training sessions when required.
Site Visits & Property Assessments:
- Conduct regular site visits to evaluate vacant suites and leasing pathways.
- Provide actionable feedback and solutions to the Manager, Leasing and Property Managers based on site assessments.
Marketing & Advertising:
- Review and update marketing advertisements for available property vacancies.
- Assist with annual marketing budget recommendations, covering traditional and digital advertising, events, signage, and more.
Community & Market Pulse:
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the surrounding residential community, including suite types, layouts, common areas, amenities, and value-added services.
- Leverage insight to enhance leasing appeal and tenant satisfaction.
Event Coordination & Materials Management:
- Organize and manage Open Houses, ensuring Leasing Specialists have all necessary materials.
- Coordinate the fulfillment of promotional items such as ‘WOW fridges’ and mini-model staging to boost engagement.
Team Communication & Meetings:
- Foster collaboration through active participation in weekly team and Property Manager meetings.
- Ensure clear communication and follow-through on action items to drive team momentum.
Who you are:
- Bachelor's degree in Sales, Marketing, or Business Administration
- Minimum three (3) years of experience in leasing, real estate sales, or customer service
- Diploma/Degree in Sales, Marketing or Business Administration an asset
- Real Estate industry experience an asset
- Impeccable verbal and written communication skills
- Outgoing personality and interpersonally savvy
- Team oriented, supportive and open to learning
- Excellent time management and prioritization skills, diligent and accountable
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and CMS modules
- Ability to analyze data and draw relevant conclusions
- Open to learning and adaptable to change
- Flexible schedule – ability to work some evenings and weekends as required
- Ability to travel to multiple sites – must possess valid Driver's License and access to a vehicle
