About the role

We are seeking an experienced and driven Sales Manager to lead our client’s business development efforts, focusing on the sale of aluminum products to both distribution networks and direct industrial customers . This role is ideal for a results-oriented professional with a strong understanding of aluminum supply chain and a proven track record of building long-term relationships in technical, high-spec markets .

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies for growing market share in aluminum stock , including sheet, plate, bar , and custom alloys .
  • Manage key accounts and distributors serving the aerospace , automotive , electrical distribution , medical device, building and construction sectors.
  • Identify new business opportunities and work closely with internal teams to deliver tailored solutions.
  • Serve as the voice of the customer, providing insights on market trends, pricing, and product requirements.
  • Represent the company at industry trade shows, customer meetings, and networking events.
  • Travel throughout the territory to maintain and grow customer relationships.

Required Experience:

  • 5+ years of B2B sales experience selling aluminum products
  • A proven track record of sales success through distribution channels or direct sales to OEMs and manufacturers .
  • Experience selling to or through metal distributors , OEMs , or contract manufacturers .
  • Familiarity with applications involving aerospace components , automotive structures , electrical enclosures , and medical manufacturing .
  • Ability to develop sales strategies and close complex, high-value deals.
  • Bilingual (French and English) strongly preferred.
  • Excellent communication, time-management, and CRM tracking skills.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Base salary range of $120,000 to $160,000 CAD , depending on experience.
  • Bonus and commission structure tied to sales performance.
