Retreat Guru leads the market with our Retreat Management System, as well as the world's largest marketplace for retreats. Since 2014, Retreat Guru has collaborated with retreat leaders and seekers to support personal and community growth. Over 400 centers use our SaaS solution to streamline their operations and facilitate their programs.
Retreat Guru is a Remote-First company based in Nelson, BC at the heart of the Kootenays. The position is remote, with the possibility of working at our headquarters alongside colleagues.

About The Role:
Retreat Guru is looking for a Sr. Account Executive to join our growth team. Reporting directly to the Sales Team Lead, you will be connecting with retreat centers and leaders around the world to help solve the unique operational needs of running a retreat center. The position is a blend of inbound and outbound sales. Ideal for an AE looking for a long-term sustainable SaaS sales position that can handle outbound, inbound and large pipeline volume. Your role as an AE will be to nurture and close deals from prospect to close. An intimate knowledge of the software will be key to creating unique solutions for the customer to help with their operational challenges.
Ideal Candidate:
The ideal candidate has previous experience in the SaaS, and can clearly and confidently communicate complex feature sets and tailor the value proposition to each prospective customer. A consultative sales approach is key as prospects find themselves in a transformative space in improving their operations. The ideal candidate is passionate about the retreat and transformational experiential space. The candidate must be comfortable out-bounding and maintaining a large sales pipeline.

Responsibilities:
As an AE, your primary responsibilities include:
- Managing the end-to-end sales process
- Conduct personalized outbound to create sales opportunities
- Qualify and close inbound leads from marketing channels
- Proactively identify and solve operational issues that face prospects
- Maintain sales pipeline and strive to hit quarterly targets
- Negotiate and close deals with prospects.
- Maintain excellent CRM (Hubspot) hygiene
- Diligent note-taking details about clients and deals
- Diligent usage of CRM automation and logging activities
- Clear communication with internal teams, including CS and Finance
Skills/Qualifications
- 5+ years of full-cycle B2B SaaS sales experience, ideally in a startup or growth-stage environment.
- Strong ability to manage both inbound and outbound sales motions.
- Previous experience building lead management workflows
- Experience working in small, tight-knit teams
- Experience with SMB sales
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Action first bias
Nice to haves:
- Familiarity with retreat experiences.
- Previous experience with selling payment solutions
- Previous experience with HubSpot
- Personal connection to Meditation, Yoga, Plant Medicines
- Based in Canada, ideally British Columbia.
- Familiarity with WordPress / HTML experience
- Proficiency in both written and spoken Spanish is a bonus
Benefits and Compensation
- $85K - $120K OTE experience depending
- Minimum 3-weeks vacation policy
- $1k in retreat spending/year + 5 days for retreat that do not count toward vacation
