Pet Cuisine & Accessories is your one-stop shop for your entire cat & dog needs and we are currently looking to hire a Part-Time Sales Associate for various morning, evening and weekend shifts. We require an outgoing animal lover with attention to detail, excellent communication and customer service skills. Pet Cuisine strives for a positive, safe, and friendly work environment for staff. We are an LGBTQ+ owned small business with a small staff, being an active member of the team is encouraged.

Skills and qualifications:

• 1-2 years related work experience in a retail environment (pet store experience required)
• Extremely friendly and personable
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to take direction
• Ability to multitask
• Self Motivated
• Excellent verbal communication
• Quick learner
• Must be comfortable with walking Dogs and Cats
• Must be able to lift and carry short distances 25lbs at a time
• Animal Lover

Duties include:

• Providing pet nutrition
• Product guidance
• Product Knowledge
• Sales Knowledge
• Cash Handling
• Phone Etiquette and communication
• Maintaining store
• Cleaning
• Merchandising
• The ability to work alone
• Maintaining the health of the animals in the store
