Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized professional to join our team as an Accountant. The ideal candidate will handle general accounting tasks and ensure compliance with financial and tax regulations. Key Responsibilities:

• Record and manage financial transactions
• Handle accounts payable and receivable
• Prepare invoices, purchase orders, and expense reports
• Reconcile bank statements and assist with month-end closings
• File monthly and quarterly tax returns (e.g., GST, PST)
• Support the preparation of financial reports and statements
• Provide general administrative support within the accounting department
• Process payroll and respond to customer or client inquiries professionally

Requirements:

• Previous experience in accounting
• Proficient in QuickBooks and advanced Excel (including Numbers on Mac)
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Valid Canadian work permit
• Fluent in English and able to understand Spanish
