The Role: Manager, Vendor Relations

What you will be doing:
- Lead the planning and forecasting process and provide insights to optimize vendor programs
- Monitor and ensure adherence to the trade agreements
- Conduct vendor due diligence, including scorecards and annual reviews
- Manage and collaborate with the Category Management team to ensure vendor compliance with contract terms, conditions and modification of terms
- Develop and maintain Vendor Management Process and Procedures to ensure consistency and maximum output from vendor returns
- Develop and /or improve processes to ensure efficiency and internal controls
- Develop high quality reports and dashboards for various levels of Category Management i.e. Vendor scorecards, sales vs. profit
- Work with the auditing firm (PRGX) to maximize audit revenues
- Approving and tracking cash billings in WorkflowGen
- Monitor, forecast and budget Merchandising Cost Centers and Capital budgets
How you will succeed:
- University Degree in business field such as Finance or Accounting.
- 5-7 years of experience in retail/merchandising analytics
- Knowledge of vendor negotiations in the retail industry
- Experience implementing process improvements impacting a large work group
- Excellent oral and written communications skills; with the ability to communicate effectively across a large number of diverse internal groups.
- Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, v-lookups, etc. for large amounts of
- data)Experienced in handling multiple data sources to produce simplified outpus
