TITLE: Part Time Maintenance Operator

LOCATION: On-site, 70 Addiscott Court, Markham, L6G 1A6 Ontario.

JOB TYPE: Part time, permanent, 8-hour shift. Flexible schedule from 10 to 25 hours per week**.**

SALARY: $25.00-$35.00 per hour

YOUR MANDATE

Under the supervision of the Plant and General Manager, as a Maintenance and Mechanic Operator, you will provide overall mechanical support to the production department.

Your responsibilities:

• Repair, install, maintain, and troubleshoot various types of machinery and equipment.
• Perform welding and basic plumbing as needed.
• Diagnose mechanical issues and apply effective solutions
• Perform preventative maintenance and safety inspections.
• Keep equipment in safe, working condition (lubrication, parts replacement, etc.).
• Maintain a clean and organized maintenance shop and toolbox.
• Follow all safety procedures and use required protective gear.
• Collaborate with team and supervisors to meet production goals.
• Perform other related tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent and/or experience in maintenance responsibility in manufacturing environment.
• Experience with machine shop tools (grinder, bandsaw, basic stick welding, industrial mechanic to conduct basic maintenance on hydraulic, electrical and/or motor system).
• Ability to work in varying temperatures.
• Forklift experience helps however training can be provided.
• Health and Safety oriented.
