As the Part-Time Physiotherapy Admin/Wellness Support, you will be a part of the Glencoe Club Physiotherapy and Wellness Team and will oversee all aspects of our front reception at the Glencoe Club. You will focus on providing patients with a high level of customer service that meets or exceeds member expectations, triaging, supporting, and problem solving on a daily basis. You will be responsible for creating memorable and unique member experiences while booking appointments, greeting patients, answering questions.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver service excellence to members and guests, as the first point of contact for Physiotherapy
  • Provide solutions and answer inquiries over the phone and book appointments
  • Assist in the booking of referral services including appointments, responding to emails, answering phone calls, follow up calls and prepare charts for the next day
  • Prepare on-line charts, ensuring they completed and filed correctly and efficiently
  • Ensure consistent compliance with the Canada Health Privacy act, Collage of Massage/Physical Therapy and Collage of Physical Therapy guidelines; as well as Glencoe Health and Safety standards and the Alberta Occupational Health and Safety regulations

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of two years' experience in wellness or healthcare administration or a related field
  • Undergraduate degree or diploma in recreation, kinesiology, sport administration or related field is an asset
  • Previous experience with booking and club management software is an asset
  • Previous experience working in a physiotherapy practice with knowledge of current health care changes is an asset
  • Commitment to a high standard of customer service
  • Attention to detail and the ability to multi-task
  • Strong communication skills and telephone etiquette
  • Strong computer skills; including working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and Windows

Additional Details:

This is a Part-Time position that reports to the Therapeutic Services & Lifestyle Director. The successful candidate may be required to work a variety of shifts including weekdays, evenings, weekends and holidays, so a flexible schedule is required.

The successful applicant will be required to complete a background check as well as Respect in the Workplace and Respect in Sport online certifications prior to commencing employment.

Applicants must be legally eligible to work in Canada. The Club does not provide assistance with obtaining Canadian work authorization.
