Job Description
Dynatrace APM Engineer / Consultant
Toronto office (downtown) – Hybrid Model
6+ Months
Minimum 5+ years of working experience in Dynatrace tool
- Perform planning, consulting, technical analysis, design, development, testing, implementation and daily support of application monitoring and automation software
- Develop and implements policies, strategies, guidelines, standards, and procedures
- Define strategy and roadmap for Dynatrace monitoring including rollout approach based on technology landscape and customer policies
- Design Dynatrace monitoring architecture based on IT landscape, security policies, and deployment approach
- Experience in designing and implementing various tools like Dynatrace SaaS, Dynatrace OneAgent, Active Gate.
- Should have worked extensively in implementation, configuration and maintenance of APM tools
- Application performance management Tool: Dynatrace (OneAgent, Enterprise Synthetic script).
- Good to have knowledge of Python and Node JS.
- Experience in gathering requirement from the application owners, analyzing the requirement and implement monitoring using OneAgent on the requisite servers.
- Understanding the discovered application process/services and responsible for configuring the same.
- Work with application team to understand the critical transactions and develop dashboards for the same.
- Worked on customizing Anomaly detection rule and setup alerting profile for each application to send the notification to the application users.
- Worked on creating/setup detection rule for log file which are discovered by OneAgent.
- Worked on integrating of tools like Jenkins with Dynatrace OneAgent will be preferable.
- Creating Management zone for each application and assign respective users to management zone to view their application details.
- Tool management and administration
- Troubleshoot with DT support closely to fix any issues faced in application over calls.
- Good Knowledge on Dynatrace Extensions development.
- Dynatrace Pro Certification would be an added advantage.
