We are hiring full-time Cooks to join our team at Riverbank Social on Carleton University campus. As a Cook on our team, you’ll help bring recipes to life while being able to flex your creativity! Surrounded by fresh ingredients and the best equipment, you’ll be immersed in a world that goes beyond food preparation – experimenting with different cuisines, flavors, and cooking styles. Riverbank Social is generally open Monday-Friday/daytime hours, however some schedules may include evenings or weekends.

About the Job
- Cook food following recipes for a high-volume kitchen
- Ensure adherence to recipes to meet any dietary requirements
- Take culinary lead on the floor within the location
- Ensure consistent quality, preparation, and presentation of food
- Provide courteous, professional customer service at all times
- Assist with controlling waste and spoilage
- Assist with culinary auditing, and food safety measures
- Assist with weekly inventory
- Maintain continual cleaning and sanitizing of surrounding work area
- Ensure adherence to all of Aramark Policies and Procedures
- May perform other job duties as required
About You
- Experience in the Culinary field
- Experience with basic food preparation and various cooking methods
- Knowledge of food, sanitization, and health and safety standards
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks
- Problem solving
- Planning and organizing skills
- Enjoy working with others in a team setting
The selected candidate for this position will need to complete and successfully pass a Criminal Background Check.
