Licensed Property Manager - Leasing

The role of the Property Manager - Leasing will be responsible for the entire leasing process on behalf of our Property Management team and property owners and tenants. This position requires compliance with legislative requirements while maintaining a high standard of customer service.

Who you are:

• Highly organized and exceptionally efficient with a positive, flexible "can-do" attitude.
• You are proficient with Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, DocuSign, and have experience with property management software, specifically Yardi Voyager.
• An effective communicator in both in writing and verbally, maintaining professionalism and attention to detail.

What You Will Do:

• Organizing and conduct property tours of available and upcoming properties
• Respond promptly to inquiries from potential and current property occupants
• Manage leasing contracts and facilitate the collection of lease payments on behalf of property owners
• Communicate effectively with owners and tenants through written and verbal correspondence
• Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, but not limited to: The Real Estate Act, The Residential Tenancies Act, The Condominium Property Act, Minimum Housing & Health Standards and PIPA.
• Protect clients' funds, properties, and assets against foreseeable contingencies or losses
• Identify and present solutions for unforeseen issues using available resources

Your Qualifications – The Must Have's

• Licensed Property Manager with RECA
• Minimum 1 years Residential Property Management experience
• Valid Alberta's Driver's License and access to a vehicle
• Excellent understanding of leasing agreements and supporting contracts
• Proficient with Microsoft Office
• Ability to allocate time effectively, work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written
• Ability to resolve problems using facts and sound reasoning
• Ability to exercise confidentiality

Blue Jean Property Management offers flexible work hours; Monday – Friday, start as early as 7 am and work as late as 6 pm. (Minimum 8 hours, 5 days a week required).
