Rate of Pay: $24.03-$25.94 per hour
Qualifications:
Education/Experience:
-
Post secondary education in office administration, business, or other related program
-
Related work experience, including confidential administrative support preferably in a healthcare setting
-
Knowledge of basic medical terminology
Skills/Abilities:
-
Ability to communicate effectively and concisely, both orally and in writing
-
Ability to establish effective working relationships with superiors, coworkers, other staff, residents and families, and other stakeholders
-
Ability to concentrate and complete tasks in a busy work environment
-
Proven ability to function and contribute as an effective team member and to work independently
-
Excellent organization/project/time management skills
-
Proficient in keyboarding and the use of office computer equipment and software, including word processing, spreadsheet, presentation, and publishing software
-
Working knowledge of Occupational Health & Safety Act

Ability to maintain confidentiality of records, actions, and information
CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT
This position shall be conditional upon a satisfactory Criminal Record and Judicial Matters Check (CRJMC) where indicated, to ensure the absence of relevant criminal convictions.
Offers of employment made to external candidates are conditional upon providing proof of COVID-19 vaccination as per the SJCG Immunization Policy IMS-04-005 or proof of valid medical exemption, prior to the offered effective date.
