Service Manager - Listowel Honda

Listowel Honda is seeking a dedicated and dynamic Service Manager to lead our service department with a hands-on approach. This role requires an individual who not only manages, but actively supports our Service Advisor and customers on the desk, ensuring a smooth workflow and aligning technician productivity with customer expectations. Our shop currently has blend of four Automotive Technicians with varying experience and a growing client base. This is an exceptional opportunity for a motivated professional with an Automotive Service background that is ready to take on additional management responsibilities.

About the Role: As the Service Manager, you’ll be responsible for:

• Providing exceptional customer service, ensuring each client has a positive experience and leaves feeling valued.
• Monitoring and managing daily tasks, along with any required reporting, to keep operations running smoothly and efficiently.
• Handling over flow clients from the Service Advisor and providing coverage for them when they're away.
• Conducting daily meetings with the service team to ensure alignment on tasks and priorities, driving team cohesion and focused productivity.
• Leading, mentoring, and supporting the Service Advisor and Technicians to deliver a consistently customer-focused experience.
• Managing the day-to-day workflow, ensuring optimal efficiency and quality across all service operations.
• Fostering a positive and performance-driven team environment, focusing on coaching and development. Overseeing warranty claims and ensuring prompt reimbursement from Honda Canada.

What We’re Looking For: The ideal candidate has:

• Experience as an Automotive Service Manager, or as an outstanding Service Advisor or Shop Foreman ready for a new challenge
• Previous experience with the Serti DMS is a plus
• Excellent communication and organizational skills, along with a superior work ethic
• Customer experience focused approach
• A willingness to share insights and knowledge to foster a collaborative and supportive team environment.

Pay: $80,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
