Do you have experience in building maintenance and renovations? To ensure our Resident Members’ peace of mind, we are looking for a talented candidate to address all maintenance requests and emergencies. If you are passionate about fixing things, good with your hands, and mechanically adept, this role is for you!

Responsibilities:
- Address requests for maintenance within 72 hours
- Perform on-call emergency maintenance according to schedule
- Vacant suite maintenance, renovations and touch-ups per established quality standards
- General common area and building maintenance
- Coordinate inspections of turnover suites with the Customer Care Team
- Preventative Maintenance inspections and reporting
- Ensure contractors complete their work per established quality standards
- Participate in training and engage in continuous learning
- Assist with snow removal as needed
- Complete all required administration for the position on a tablet
- Complete other duties as assigned
Experience and Educational Requirements:
- 2+ years of renovation experience
Technical Requirements:
- Working knowledge of English language both verbal and written
- Familiarity with technology is required
- Painting and finishes – cleaning, sanding, priming, painting, textured surfaces
- Plumbing – repair and install toilets, sinks, faucets, valves, run power auger to clear blocked lines
- Electrical – replacing light fixtures, switches and receptacles
- Drywall – repair
- Countertops – repair, replace
- Floors – repair laminate, carpet, tiles, and install, repair baseboards
- Doors, windows, and cabinets – repair, replace, and install
Nice to have:
- Additional skills and experience in framing, tiling, drywall, flooring, and plumbing
- Basic knowledge of hydronic heating systems and furnaces
- Locks – repair, replace, rekey, and mastering
- Appliance – repair and install
- Asbestos abatement certification
Non-Technical Requirements:
- Ensure to have majority of the tools on the tool list (list provided during interview)
- Ability to work independently and with others in a team environment (at any location as needed)
- Ability to spend up to eight hours walking, standing, climbing stairs, lifting
- Ability to maneuver up to 90 kg with the proper equipment
- Strong commitment to providing excellent customer service
- Ability to fix the problem correctly the first time
- Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making capabilities
Additional Requirements:
- Must have a reliable vehicle and clean driving record
- Valid driver’s license
