ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY:

EDCL 308/508: “Introduction to Ministries – Catechesis-Youth-Family” is a course offered to students in the 4th and final year of the Certificate of Pastoral Ministry Program. This course is a theological and pastoral study of the Church’s ministry of teaching and catechesis in the mission of evangelization, with particular attention given to the ministry of youth and family.

Main responsibilities for this position will include:

  • Developing a syllabus for this course
  • Providing in-person lectures
  • Creating and grading assignments for this course

APPOINTMENT/TERM DATES: March 7, April 11, and May 9, 2026.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum of a Master’s degree in Catholic theology or equivalent discipline. Verification of credential will be required. Preference given to applicants with an expertise in evangelization and/or catechesis.
  • Minimum of several years of related ministerial experience with youth and/or families (in parish and/or school environments).
  • Police information check may be required
  • Superior communication skills
  • Experience with adult learners
