Role:
The New Customer Onboarding Project Manager (NCOB Project Manager) is responsible for the end-to-end project management of concurrent new customer onboardings of varying size and complexity, for multi-unit contract customers. This position will operate as the primary point of contact for new-to-Sysco and new-to-market customers and is accountable to meeting time, cost, and quality customer requirements. In addition, the NCOB Project Manager will operate as an informal leader coordinating the work across multiple Sysco functions to meet customer requirements. As an informal leader, the NCOB Project Manager must foster a collaborative and productive environment, in a matrix structure, while ensuring each colleague is meeting time, cost, and quality expectations.
The NCOB Project Manager will operate as the internal point of contact for each onboarding across the different levels of leadership within Sysco. To meet these requirements, the NCOB Project Manager will execute the different project management knowledge areas, specifically: scope management, time management, stakeholder management, resource management, and communications management.
Role Responsibilities:

Responsible for the end-to-end management onboarding customers to Sysco.

Customer facing communications (written and verbal) for status, progress, barriers, and escalations.

Leads and facilitates customer facing meetings
-
Responsible for escalating barriers and coordinating solutions to ensure quality onboarding.

Responsible for communicating and representing the end-to-end onboarding process to internal partners and external customers.
-
Responsible for documenting critical-to-customer and critical-to-business documents during the onboarding event.

Responsible for contract tracker maintenance and contract expiry notifications to relevant parties.

Facilitates promo planning and manages communications between multiple internal departments.

Assists with customer offboarding when required.

Complies with Sysco’s Food Safety Policy and procedures to ensure food safety, quality and legality requirements are met.

Is willing to work safely with minimal environmental impact and understands the importance of reporting all hazards, incidents, and environmental spills immediately to their supervisor.

Understands that they play an integral role in their own safety and that of their colleagues and is willing to speak out when hazards are present.

Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications/Skills/Job Requirements (About you):

Required - 5 years coordinating / leading / supporting cross-functional projects
-
Preferred - 5+ years coordinating / leading / supporting cross-functional projects, scheduling, informal leadership, formal leadership.

Required – College diploma in related field or related work experience.

Preferred – Bachelor’s degree in business, sales, marketing or related field.
-
Excellent customer service, time management, and organizational skills.
-
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook

Travelling may be required based on business need
