We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing incoming payments, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring timely collections. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent mathematical skills, and proficiency in accounting software. Duties
- Process accounts receivable transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Perform data entry tasks related to customer payments and invoices.
- Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks.
- Conduct account reconciliation to ensure all transactions are accounted for.
- Communicate with clients via phone and email regarding outstanding invoices.
- Maintain organized records of all accounts receivable activities.
- Assist in generating financial reports related to accounts receivable as needed.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in accounts receivable or a similar financial role is preferred.
- Strong data entry skills with a high level of accuracy.
- Proficiency in accounting software, particularly QuickBooks or Sage
- Excellent math skills and attention to detail.
- Strong phone etiquette and communication skills for effective client interactions.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Knowledge of account reconciliation processes is desirable.
