Position Overview:

Are you passionate about building strong customer relationships and driving business growth? As a Major Product Support Sales Representative (MPSSR), you’ll be working to grow partnerships with some of our biggest customers in the construction industry. In your day-to-day, you’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams across the organization to deliver innovative aftermarket products and services to customers in your territory. Using a consultative selling approach, you’ll help customers enhance fleet performance, boost productivity, and reduce operating costs.

Job Description:

  • Evaluate customer needs, promote and sell products and services to meet those needs, and provide quality solutions.
  • Partner with our customers to drive profitable parts and service revenue in line with corporate and territory targets.
  • Develop and maintain client information and data using Finning’s CRM software to enable accurate market intelligence, pricing, estimates, and customer satisfaction.
  • Prepare accurate and timely forecasts, pricing, estimates, and market intelligence for parts and service revenue targets for the assigned customer base to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Develop and maintain strategic account plans for your key customers to ensure alignment with their evolving needs and business objectives
  • Ensure all sales documents and customer agreements are completed consistently, accurately, and in a timely manner.

Qualifications:

  • History of sales experience, with a solid understanding of basic selling principles such as prospecting, call planning, qualifying, handling objections, follow-ups, and closing the sale
  • Experience working with customers on maintenance strategies and equipment is an asset
  • Mechanical knowledge, training or education is considered an asset
  • Business knowledge, training or education is also considered an asset
  • Previous experience in product sales and service is highly beneficial
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively across all levels of an organization, from fleet supervisors to C-suite executives
  • Proficient in MS Office suite
