This role will require 3-4 days a week in the Toronto office
The Senior Manager, Value Proposition and Product Management will lead a team responsible for delivering and managing products and experiences that help Canadian Personal Banking customers achieve Real Financial Progress. You will own My Financial Progress, BMO's recently launched goals planning tool, as well our award winning Goals Ecosystem in addition to other programs. Focus will be on driving adoption, engagement and monetization of these tools.
In addition, you will identify, assess, and implement other key proof points to build the roadmap for market differentiation and growth based on goals-based offerings.
This role requires a results-oriented, customer-centric leader with experience in product management and building personalized customer journeys via channels like email, and digital banking. You will collaborate with partners across the organization to build new and optimize existing campaigns, triggered journeys, and integration of Goals data into leads programs.
These projects will be conducted in collaboration with Products teams, Digital, Marketing, Analytics, Customer Segments, Customer Loyalty & Salesforce Enablement, Virtual Connect and other partners.
Key Accountabilities:

Product management and customer lifecycle management

Strategy development

Own the launch , go-to-market strategy, management, and be the voice of business on key RFP proof points
-
Own goals-personalization strategy to enable relevant communications across customer experience and channels
-
Develop quarterly and annual plans designed to optimize customer base outlook – increase deposits and PPC, promotion of loyalty programs, drive acquisitions etc.

Develop reporting and executive level presentations to outline the strategy, share results and next steps
-
Lead the implementation of key initiatives with large multi-functional teams, through ideation, requirements, implementation and change management
-
Enable project prioritization and feasibility analysis via business casing, research and competitive scan
-
Work with Product, Acquisition, Segment, Value Prop and Air Miles partners to design campaigns to drive acquisition and engagement
-
Develop, launch and manage customer journeys specific to the Goals Program to drive customer engagement and deposit growth, present relevant financial literacy content and product offers, and drive digital adoption

Collaborate with partners to integrate relevant Goals touchpoints into existing customer journeys
-
Work with partners to assess and present campaign and journey results
-
Develop and implement recommendations for campaign and journey optimization
Knowledge & Skills
-
7+ years relevant experience ideally in the financial services industry, and post-secondary degree in related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
-
Personal Banking product management, customer acquisition, marketing, and customer loyalty experience would be an asset
-
Strong business acumen and strategy development skills
-
Highly developed analytical and problem-solving skills with an ability to assimilate a large amount of information to identity data driven action plans and build business cases to support recommended action plans
-
Ability to develop recommendations and effectively articulate recommendations to senior stakeholders
-
Ability to influence others to take action and to gain support for proposed initiatives
-
Experience in the development and delivery of initiatives impacting people, processes, and technology
-
Strong collaboration & team skills; with a focus on cross-group collaboration
-
Exceptional oral and written communication skills

Strong PowerPoint presentation skills

Strong data management software skills (e.g. Excel pivot tables)

Salary : $94,600.00 - $176,000.00
Pay Type: Salaried
The above represents BMO Financial Group’s pay range and type. Salaries will vary based on factors such as location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications for the role, and may include a commission structure. Salaries for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on number of hours regularly worked. For commission roles, the salary listed above represents BMO Financial Group’s expected target for the first year in this position.
BMO Financial Group’s total compensation package will vary based on the pay type of the position and may include performance-based incentives, discretionary bonuses, as well as other perks and rewards.
