About the role

Job Description Pickering Casino Resort is seeking a Full-time Cage Supervisor! Under the direction of the Cage and Coin Manager, this position is to be responsible for overseeing the daily cage & main bank operations. Your strong presence on the gaming floor will be vital to your management of people and interacting with Guests while delivering exceptional Guest Service. You will ensure compliance with Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO) regulations and all applicable laws, policies and procedures. As a role model, you will demonstrate integrity, respect, and accountability, assisting with the hiring, training, evaluating, recognition, and development of your staff.

Contributes to a safe and welcoming work environment for all team members. Motivates, leads by example and provides a learning environment. Ensures adherence to all policies and procedures.

Skills The ideal candidate is an energetic professional with proven knowledge, skills and abilities, executing the following in support of the company’s vision, mission and values:

  • Overseeing the daily cage & main bank operations
  • Assisting with the hiring, training, evaluating, recognition, and development of your staff
  • Develops and cultivates strong working relationships with all stakeholders: guests, ownership, team members, vendors and regulators.
  • Ensures compliance with licensing laws, health and safety and other statutory regulations.
  • Comply with the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO) regulations and all applicable laws, policies and procedures
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Successful Applicants Will Demonstrate The Following Qualifications

  • Post-secondary education in a relevant field
  • One or more years of experience in a leadership role
  • A strong mathematical aptitude, managerial skills and familiarity with a high-volume, fast paced, shift-work environment
  • Working knowledge of computer software and the ability to learn new software and systems
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • The ability to obtain registration as a Category 1 Gaming Assistant with the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario
  • Ability to exceed internal and external guest expectations through timely, effective and service oriented communication.

Candidates must be ready and willing to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, holidays and overnights. The hours of work and location will be based on operational needs. Ready to embark on your next adventure?
