Job Description: Senior accountant

Position Overview：

This role is to assist the Accounting Manager in managing the accounting team, be able to lead the team and direct work processes, oversee group companies’ financial transactions, and conduct financial analysis etc.

Primary Responsibilities:

· Analyze complex financial records to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies.

· Oversee daily accounting functions, including maintaining the general ledger, journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial transaction recording.

· Perform monthly and periodic bank reconciliations and investigate discrepancies promptly.

· Monitor and manage cash flow, ensuring sufficient liquidity for operational needs.

· Calculate landed costs for international shipments and maintain accurate cost tracking of overseas inventory.

· Generate periodic and ad hoc financial reports as required by management or external stakeholders.

· Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff ensuring accuracy and timeliness of all functions.

· Collaborate across departments to ensure financial information is captured accurately and supports business objectives.

· Assist in the preparation of the annual budget, quarterly forecasts, and conduct variance analysis to identify key drivers of financial performance.

· Perform additional duties and projects as assigned by the Accounting Manager.

Qualifications:

· Have three years or more progressive experience in accounting

· Bachelor’s degree/colleague diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field;

· Strong understanding of GAAP and other relevant accounting standards.

· Proficient in Microsoft Office. (Pivot Tables, VlookUps)

· Strong understanding of full-cycle Accounting

· Attention to detail, strong time management, organization skills and accuracy

· Proficiency in computer usage and ERP/accounting systems. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and collaborate effectively.
